1. What data we process
Razorline works locally. The data you generate — sessions and lap times, GPS traces, tracks and routes, vehicles, records and settings — is stored exclusively on your device. It is not sent to us or to any server we own (we have no servers). We do not ask for your name, email, phone number or any identifying data.
2. Transparent permissions and why they are needed
Every permission has one purpose: making the app work locally. Here's exactly what's needed and why.
GPS Location
Used only while the app is in use to time laps, record your trajectory and show the map. It is not used when the app is closed or not in use, is processed on-device and is not transmitted to us.
Bluetooth
To connect to the OBD-II adapter (ELM327) via classic Bluetooth or BLE to read telemetry.
Internet
To display Google Maps on Android or Apple Maps on iOS, verify purchases with the store, and open links selected by the user. Razorline does not send sessions or telemetry to its own servers.
Motion sensors
To measure and display G-forces in real time. Data stays on-device.
Notifications
For optional app alerts when a visible feature needs them.
Notification access
(Android only, optional) To read the active track title and show you controls. We do not read or transmit the content of your notifications.
Camera & Media
Used solely locally to record a video (with audio) or pick a photo as the background when creating a social highlight ("Story"). We do not transmit files to us.
Local Network
(iOS only) To connect to Wi-Fi OBD-II adapters on the local network.
Keep Screen On
Wakelock to prevent the screen from turning off while driving in the HUD or Tours.
3. Third-party services
Mapping is provided by Google Maps on Android and Apple Maps/MapKit on iOS. Providers may receive network technical data, the device IP address and the requested map area to deliver the service; Razorline does not receive or retain those requests. Routes, sectors and corner hints come from coordinates selected or recorded by the user: Razorline does not provide road routing or turn-by-turn navigation.
4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases (Premium)
Razorline offers advanced features through a "Premium" subscription. Payments and restores are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. The developer does not receive card numbers or other payment details. The app reads the status required to unlock Premium from the store and keeps a minimal encrypted cache in the iOS Keychain or Android secure storage for offline operation. Apple and Google process transaction records under their respective policies and legal and anti-fraud duties.
5. Data sharing and selling
We do not share or sell any data. If you choose to export or share a file (GPX, CSV or a "challenge"), that action is started voluntarily by you through your device's share menu.
6. Retention and deletion
Sessions, routes, vehicles and settings remain on your device until you delete them in the app or remove Razorline. The operating system may retain a minimal Premium-status cache in secure storage after uninstall; it contains no payment data and is replaced during the next store verification.
7. Children
The app is not intended for children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
8. Safe use
Razorline is intended for closed circuits, track days or private areas. Do not use it on public roads and do not interact with the phone while driving.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
